Thoracic Surgery involves the diagnosis and surgical management of diseases effecting the heart and major blood vessels , pericardium, lungs, oesophagus, thymus, diaphragm, ribs  and chest wall. At Lung & Sleep Victoria, our Thoracic Surgeon has extensive experience in the care of patients with a wide variety of cancer and non cancer problems, performing advanced diagnostic (EBUS) and therapeutic (laser and stenting) endoscopy (bronchoscopy and gastroscopy); minimally invasive  (traditional ‘key hole’ and robotic)  lung and thymus resection.
